Hello Community,
The experience of being in HR is changing fast. Just think, now, HR is deeply involved in algorithmic decisions.
Five years ago, HR credibility was based on policy consistency and employee experience metrics. Today, credibility is tested in investment committees and in board discussions about AI risk, productivity, and workforce capabilities.
Deloitte’s latest survey, State of AI in the Enterprise, found that access to AI across organizations has expanded from under 40% of workers to nearly 60% in just one year.
And what’s coming: More than half of organizations expect to move at least 40% of their AI experiments into production within a few months.
The reality is, 84% of organizations have not redesigned jobs around AI capabilities.
That gap is now landing directly on HR leaders.
To better understand how organizations are making critical hiring decisions in this environment, we asked more than 100 HR leaders how they define and evaluate culture fit. Today, we share the report conducted in collaboration with Spark Hire, with the final results.

HR COMMUNITY SURVEY REPORT
WHAT HR LEADERS ARE DOING ABOUT CULTURE FIT
During the latest summits, we heard many conversations about hiring quality, candidate evaluation, and the role of technology in helping make better decisions.
Those themes also appear in our latest research, a survey we launched in January in collaboration with Spark Hire, to understand how HR leaders define and assess culture fit during hiring. The findings reveal an important gap.
Although 6 in 10 organizations say culture is clearly defined, far fewer translate that definition into structured hiring practices, and that gap shows up across the hiring journey.
Inside the report, you will find:
Data from 100+ HR leaders across industries
Insights into how culture fit is currently assessed
The biggest breakdown points between screening, selection, and onboarding
Practical ideas to move culture fit from intuition to structured evaluation
If hiring quality and long-term retention are priorities for your organization, this research provides useful context for improving how culture fit is measured and applied.
See how these insights connect with the broader conversation on HR technology, AI, and the future of work.

HR SKILLS
PEOPLE, WORK, AND HR TECHNOLOGY STRATEGY
The expectations placed on HR have changed faster than most career paths have prepared us for.
HR leaders are now asked to evaluate AI vendors, redesign workflows, defend ROI in front of finance, interpret predictive signals, oversee governance frameworks, and connect technology decisions to business performance. Yet most HR education was built for a world centered on policy, compliance, and operational delivery.
That gap continues to grow.
We created the People, Work, and HR Technology Strategist Certificate Program to help you build systems fluency, strategic alignment, data confidence, and responsible governance capability, the skills HR leaders now need to operate at the enterprise level.
This certificate program starts on March 24 and is included in the Premium membership.
The key differentiator of all our Certificate Programs is that they are led by global HR experts. Each class is a goldmine of insights, with real-world case discussions and opportunities to connect with peers across industries and regions.
Start date: March 20, 2026 (Orientation)
End date: May 19, 2026
100% Virtual
Live class times: 08:00 AM to 10:00 AM Pacific Time
This Certificate Program offers: 20 SHRM + 20 HRCI + 20 IHRIM
