Starts THIS Thursday, July 23 The best HR leaders aren't just strategic thinkers; they're strong performers who can hold their own in the room, under pressure, when it counts. That's the gap most HR development programs never close. You can learn every framework for influencing a CHRO or presenting to a board, and still freeze the first time you have to do it live. That's exactly why we built the Strategic Human Capital & Global Business Leadership Mini Master, a live, 20-week program designed to close that gap for good. New this cohort: free access to Yoodli AI Roleplays for the entire program. We've partnered with Yoodli AI Roleplays to give every participant unlimited AI-powered practice, so you build real executive presence before you ever need it live: | Week 5, Leadership Development & Adaptive Learning: Practice coaching conversations and adaptive leadership scenarios with real-time feedback. Yoodli's team joins us live to get you started. | | Week 16, Executive Communication & Boardroom Influence: Rehearse presenting workforce data to a skeptical board, handle hard questions, and build composure, as many times as you need. | | Your Capstone Project: Your Yoodli access runs the full program, so you can keep rehearsing all the way to graduation. Completing your Capstone is required to graduate and earn your Pearson digital badge, certificate, and HR Credits — use Yoodli to rehearse your executive summary until it's second nature. Walk into graduation having already delivered it, not winging it in front of your peers and faculty. |

Thanks to Yoodli CEO Varun Puri and his team for supporting our community with this partnership. Your live, 2-hour class starts THIS Thursday. If you've been waiting for the program that helps you move from HR operator to strategic partner, this is it. |

Executive Network Join the Exclusive AI Office Hours; Bring Your Questions |
We hear about AI everywhere; there are courses, posts, webinars, etc. Yet most senior HR leaders are figuring out AI in isolation. They're expected to have a point of view on governance, on pilots, on what's actually safe to roll out, and they're often doing that thinking alone, in a job where admitting they're not sure doesn't come easy. That's the gap we built AI Office Hours to close. Starting Monday, August 3rd, this becomes the Executive Network's first live offering: a monthly 90-minute session hosted by Hacking HR's Enrique Rubio, held on the first Monday of each month and open to all Executive Network members. There is no lecture, no deck. Members bring what's actually in front of them — a governance question they haven't resolved, a pilot under pressure internally, a vendor conversation moving faster than the policy can keep up with — and Enrique and the room work through it together in real time. This is the first of several new Executive Network offerings rolling out this year, with the rest launching in September. If you're a senior HR leader who's been carrying these AI questions alone, August 3rd is your first chance to bring them into the room. → Apply to join the Executive Network |

Hacking HR Communities Houston Showed Up. And Everyone Left a Little More Connected. |
Last week, the Hacking HR Houston Chapter held its second event, and the room made one thing clear: this chapter is becoming exactly what it set out to be — a place where HR people don't have to perform, but can just show up. The evening brought together HR professionals from across the city for good food, an intimate venue, and real conversation, hosted with support from David Acker at The Baldwin Group and Mauricio Gil at Padre's Wine Bar. Achievements were celebrated. Challenges were talked through openly. Job leads came up naturally, shared over conversation rather than LinkedIn DMs. One moment stood out above the rest: a participant shared that he'd been to plenty of HR events before, but this was the first time he actually felt like he belonged. That kind of comment happens when the room is built right. For everyone who couldn't make it this time, you were missed, and there's already another one on the calendar. → If you're in Houston, we'd love to see you at the next one |

HR Insight The Largest Health Cost You're Probably Not Measuring |
Companies spend over $60 billion a year on employee wellbeing, but healthcare costs continue to rise. Mercer predicted that in 2026, they will increase 6.5% per employee on average, the highest peak since 2010. One of the top three healthcare expenses for employers remains largely invisible: | → Musculoskeletal (MSK) conditions affect 1 in 2 adults in the U.S. | | → They account for more than $420 billion in annual treatment costs |
We know where MSK risk originates — so why are we still treating the consequences instead of preventing the cause? Last week, HR, Benefits, and HSE leaders joined Hacking HR and Deep Care for a workshop to address this question. Read our recap with the three biggest takeaways, and, if you're based in the US, get a complimentary evaluation kit and a free MSK risk assessment for your team. → Read the recap here |
